Today I would like to share some experiences for a mixed color 1.5m Container Ship Model - ABU DHABI PEACE

No matter display it on the shelf, office, reception desk, or meeting room, collect ship / truck / container model is becoming a fashion among shipping people. So does ADT.
Abu Dhabi Peace in ADT Office
ADT was established in May 2006, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Ports –enjoys a strong relationship with the global maritime industry and trade community. ADT manages and operates the Khalifa Port Container Terminal (KPCT), the first semi-automated and technologically advanced container terminal in the Middle East, for which it acquired exclusive management rights through a 30-year concession agreement, with Abu Dhabi Ports, signed in 2012.
Abu Dhabi Terminals was responsible for the smooth transition of container traffic from the old Zayed Port to the new Khalifa Port, located in Taweelah - midway between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
In October 2014, ADT achieved a major milestone by handling 2 million TEU since the opening of Khalifa Port.
After several discussions and modification finally ship model design V6 was confirmed and put it to production. It takes 60-80 working days and over 90% of the procedures are handmade.
Let’s have a look at the details:
Three colors of mini containers intertwined together with 3 companies’ handy printed logos. ADT(Abu Dhabi Terminals), ADP(Abu Dhabi Ports), and TIL(Terminal Investment Limited).
The ship hull was made of resin with a strengthened inner structure to keep it in a long-lasting good shape. Stainless steel railings, realistic guard tower, chimney, propeller all the same as real ships!
Outside the ship model is high end wooden base and transparent acrylic cover.
We use sponges and nylon blets to fix ship hull and containers.
Plastic film wrap to hold the acrylic cover & wooden base together.
Then put it in a customized wooden box with sponges covered to absorbe the vibration and protect it from damage during international transportation..
Then pallet on the bottom, wrapped by plastic film again, finally it arrived in Khalifa Port safe and sound.
Q: I want to customize a ship with my logo, how much?
A: Size above 100cm, moq is 1pc. Small size moq is 50pcs or more.
We need below information to evaluate and quote:
Ship model type, size, or scale.
3D drawing / General Arrangement Bine / Lines Plan / Clear real ship photos at different angles
Q: How long can I get it?
A: After deposit arrived, usually it takes around 60-80 working days as most procedures are finished by handy work. To achieve a good quality tradional handy masterpiece of collection, we suggest that reserve 3 months would be preferable.
If in urgent situation, please share with us your deadline at the very beginning, we will plan and seek for the possibility of quicker way to finish it.(increasing labour for 24hrs shift working)
Q: I want to make my color, is it possible?
A: Sure, we will paint it according to Pantone /Ral color code.
Q: Can you make other models?
A: Yes, besides the Container ship model, we produce Cruise Ship/ Scientific & research ship / Engineering / Oil tanker / Bulk vessel / Military vessel / Coast guard boat models ,etc. at all sizes and shapes, in static or with sound, light and remote control etc.
