    The Port of Tanjung Pelepas, or PTP for Short, is located at the southern tip of Peninsular Malaysia, just off the coast of Singapore, the throat of world shipping. With an annual container handling capacity of more than 8 million TEU and a total of 27 ultra Panamanian container ship cranes with an overhanging distance of 18 boxes, the Port of Tanjung Pelepas is capable of handling the world's largest Knock Nevis berthing operation, that can double-lift 40-foot containers. The efficiency of the bridge crane has reached 33 trips per hour. The PTP shoreline is 3600 meters long and the storage capacity of the PTP exceeds 156,000 TEU. The PTP covers an area of 1.2 million square meters.
