Anniversary gifts carry a specific problem: they must feel worth the milestone without turning into a trophy nobody uses. For Maersk Malaysia's 50th anniversary, the answer agreed between our two teams was to represent the whole logistics chain — sea, land and air — in one set.
Three production lines, one programme
Most gift programmes run one production line. This one ran three in parallel:
- Sea — a 20 cm ABS container ship, containers printed and stacked in Maersk livery
- Land — a 1:87 zinc-alloy container truck, cab and trailer separate, wheels rolling
- Air — a Boeing 767 freighter with fine line detail on the fuselage
Presentation details
Each piece sits on a solid wooden base with a frosted acrylic nameplate; the ship gets a high-clarity acrylic cover. Anniversary text is engraved, not printed — the difference between a gift and a keepsake.
Why a set works for a milestone
A single model says "vessel". A set says "network" — which is precisely what a 50-year logistics relationship deserves. The programme was delivered in full and received with consistent positive feedback from the client's leadership.
