Vincent Hao — Founder

22 years in shipping. 14 of them making nothing but shipping gifts.

Why I do this

I joined the shipping industry in 2004 and spent years in carrier sales — including sales management at Maersk. In those years I learned how shipping companies celebrate: new routes, new vessels, anniversaries, milestone customers. And I kept seeing the same thing — gifts that had a logo printed on them, but nothing of the business behind the logo.

In 2012 I started Micro Shipping to fix that. The idea is simple: a shipping company's gift should carry its business, not just its logo. A vessel named after your trade route. A container in your exact livery. A model your customer's customer will ask about.

Fourteen years later, we still do one thing. No generic premiums, no unrelated categories. Shipping gifts, made properly, for the industry we come from.

What I believe

A corporate gift in this industry is not a giveaway. It is your business shrunk to a scale your customer can keep on their desk — and it has to survive the same scrutiny as the real thing: hull lines, container colours, spelling of the vessel name. If we wouldn't put it in a carrier's boardroom, we don't ship it.

Why customers trust us with this

  • 22 years in shipping since 2004 — I have sat on the customer side of this transaction
  • Supplier to the seven largest container lines, including 14 years of continuous work with MSC
  • Appointed producer for Adora Magic City, China's first large domestic cruise ship, delivered in 3 months from design
  • Invited to MSC's Geneva headquarters after a marine expo meeting — a relationship built over years, not a one-off order
  • Member, Shenzhen International Freight Forwarders Association
