Tooling & Moulds
Most of our tooling is developed in-house — a mould is not a separate project you have to manage.
Almost everything we ship comes off tooling we have developed ourselves. That is the practical difference between a factory and a trading company: when a shape, a scale or a mechanism does not exist yet, we cut the mould instead of looking for a supplier who already has one.
| When tooling is needed | A new hull shape, a new scale, a container format or a mechanism that is not already in our library |
|---|---|
| Who develops it | We do — working from your artwork, 3D files or reference photographs, and cutting tooling to our own drawings |
| Cost | Tooling is normally handled by us as part of the programme. Where a dedicated mould is required for your product, any tooling charge is set out in writing before work starts |
| Lead time | 15–30 days for tooling and the first sample, depending on complexity |
| Re-orders | The same tooling is reused, so dimensions and colour stay identical run after run |
| Changes | Artwork and livery changes between runs are straightforward; structural changes are quoted before any work starts |
If tooling terms matter to your procurement process, raise it in your enquiry and we will set the detail out in the quotation.
