OEM / ODM Development
From a brief to a finished product: the eight steps of a custom development programme.
Most of what we ship did not exist before a client asked for it. A custom programme runs through eight steps:
| 1. Brief | Occasion, audience, quantity, deadline, reference images or vessel data |
|---|---|
| 2. Concept | Proposal with form factor, materials and branding plan — free digital mock-up |
| 3. 3D & hand sample | 3D modelling and a physical hand sample for proportion and feel |
| 4. Tooling | Mould design and production for diecast and injected parts |
| 5. Pre-production sample | Full-livery sample; nothing enters mass production before your sign-off |
| 6. Mass production | Batch QC with photographic records at each stage |
| 7. Inspection | AQL inspection, optionally third-party, before packing |
| 8. Delivery | Export packing, documentation, shipping to venue or distributed addresses |
Typical timelines: samples 15–30 days, production 20–90 days depending on product family, tooling and quantity. Launch-date programmes are scheduled backwards from the event.
